Double eccentric butterfly valves and ordinary butterfly valves are common valve types, and they differ in structure and performance. Double eccentric butterfly valve is a kind of high performance flanged butterfly valve, it is improved on the basis of single eccentric butterfly valve, and ordinary butterfly valve usually refers to the center line soft seal butterfly valve.

The structure of the double eccentric price butterfly valve is characterized by its stem axis deviating from the center of the butterfly plate and from the center of the body. This design makes the valve after opening, the disc can be quickly removed from the seat, greatly eliminating the unnecessary excessive extrusion and scratching phenomenon between the disc and the seat, thereby reducing friction and wear, and improving the sealing performance and service life of the valve.

The structure of the ordinary offset butterfly valve is relatively simple, the stem axis, the butterfly plate and the body are in the same position, and soft seals are usually used, such as rubber or polytetrafluoroethylene and other materials, which are suitable for use in normal temperature and low pressure environment and have good sealing performance.

The double eccentric butterfly valve works similarly to the single eccentric butterfly valve, but because of the double eccentric design, it has better sealing performance and lower friction and wear. The working principle of ordinary actuated butterfly valve is to control the flow of fluid by rotating the valve plate, and the rotation direction of the valve plate determines the flow direction of the fluid. Due to its simple structure, during the opening and closing process of the ordinary 6 inch butterfly valve, the butterfly plate and the seat are always in a state of squeezing and scraping, which may lead to greater friction and wear.
