The surface layer of the valve, the trapezoidal thread on the stem and stem nut, the sliding part of the stem nut and bracket and its transmission gear, worm and other components are very easy to accumulate a lot of dirt such as dust, oil stains and material residues, causing wear and corrosion to the valve.

Therefore, the valve should always be kept clean. Generally, the dust on the valve should be swept with a brush and compressed air, or even cleaned with a copper wire brush until the processing surface and matching surface show metallic luster, and the paint surface shows the primary color of the paint. The steam trap shall be inspected at least once per shift by a specially assigned person; Open the bottom plug of flushing valve and steam trap regularly for cleaning, or dismantle it regularly for cleaning, so as to prevent the valve from being blocked by dirt.

2.Keep the valve lubricated

The lubrication of the valve, the trapezoidal thread of the valve, the sliding parts of the stem nut and the bracket, the meshing parts of the bearing position, the transmission gear and the worm gear, and other matching parts must be maintained with excellent lubrication standards, so as to reduce mutual friction and prevent mutual wear. For the parts without oil mark or injector, which are easy to be damaged or lost in operation, the full lubrication system software should be repaired to ensure the oil passage.

Lubricating parts should be oiled regularly according to specific conditions. The frequently opened valve with high temperature is suitable for refueling once a week to a month; Do not often open, the temperature is not too high valve refueling cycle time can be longer. Lubricants include engine oil, butter, molybdenum disulfide and graphite. The engine oil is not suitable for high temperature valve; Butter doesn’t fit, either. They melt and run out. High temperature valve is suitable for adding molybdenum disulfide and wiping graphite powder. If grease and other grease are used for the lubrication parts exposed outside, such as trapezoidal thread and teeth, it is very easy to be contaminated with dust. If molybdenum disulfide and graphite powder are used for lubrication, it is not easy to be contaminated with dust, and the actual lubrication effect is better than butter. Graphite powder is not easy to be applied immediately, and can be used with a small amount of machine oil or water adjusted paste.

The plug valve with oil filling seal should be filled with oil according to the specified time, otherwise it is very easy to wear and leak.

Besides, it is not allowed to knock, support heavy objects or stand on the valve to prevent the valve from being dirty or damaged. Especially non-metallic material mesh doors and cast iron valves, it should be forbidden.

Maintain the maintenance of electric equipment. The maintenance of electric equipment shall not be less than once a month in general. Maintenance contents include: the surface shall be cleaned without dust accumulation, and the equipment will not be stained by steam and oil stains; Sealing surface and point shall be firm and firm. No leakage; The lubricating parts shall be filled with oil according to the regulations, and the valve stem nut shall be lubricated with grease; Part of electrical equipment shall be intact without phase failure, control switch and thermal relay shall not be tripped, and display lamp display information shall be correct.
