After intense and orderly production, the first batch of DN2000*2200 fixed wheels steel gate and DN2000*3250 garbage rack were manufactured and shipped from the factory last night. These two kinds of equipment will be used as an important part in the field of hydropower and contribute to energy construction.

Steel sluice gate is an important hydraulic engineering facility, its main function is to control water flow, adjust water level, to meet the needs of power generation, irrigation, flood control and so on. The way it works is relatively simple but very effective.

First, sluice gate valve is supported and guided by a wheel shaft fixed to the bottom. This axle allows the gate to move freely in the horizontal direction while preventing it from moving vertically. When it is necessary to close the gate, the hydraulic force pushes the gate backwards, making it fit tightly into the river bed, thus blocking the flow of water. Instead, when the gate needs to be opened, human or mechanical forces push the gate forward, disconnecting it from the riverbed and allowing water to pass through.

In addition, the design of the sluice gate also takes into account the pressure and velocity of the water flow. The shape and size of the gates are precisely calculated to ensure stability in all flow conditions. At the same time, gate surfaces are usually coated with anti-corrosion coatings to extend service life and reduce maintenance costs.
