Their planar sliding structure design breaks through traditional gate limitations: the gate panel and track utilize low-friction coefficient composite materials, paired with winch or manual-electric drive systems, enabling rapid and precise opening/closing while ensuring tight sealing under high tidal levels. When the water level in the river channel exceeds that of the outer river, the gates can be automatically or remotely controlled to open, achieving "gravity-driven drainage" and avoiding backflow risks.
